May Day Baskets

Today is May Day, and it's 40 degrees here today. Yesterday was 70 degrees, that's how you know you are living in Iowa, one day it's warm and the next day it's cold. What a cold day to start May out with. I still love Iowa though:)

I NEVER do May baskets, maybe it's because my kids aren't in school age yet to do them, just preschool age. Anyways, I thought today would be a great day for Brandt to do a homemade May basket for his Gigi(Grandma).  She is going to watch the kids tonight while I am at Zumba, so I thought what a fun surprise it would be to bring her a May basket.

I looked online and found a homemade construction paper May basket to do. I went and printed off the pattern and Brandt and I got to it.

Working hard

Concentration is the key:)

All done and so proud

Good job Brandt

Fun snorkeling stickers we found for an added touch

We didn't have real flowers so fake will have to do:)

I thought since Brandt was in all of them I had to get Alivia with the masterpiece, ha ha

I tried to get my Mom to take a picture with it and the kids but she didn't have her hair done, ha ha:) I know the exact feeling.. I usually don't have my hair done until night time when it's time for bed(lol) that's a stay at home Mom for ya!

Do you all have May baskets you do for school and your kids? Please share with me if you do:)

Till next time...........
