Cupcakes and Crafts

Yesterday was a relaxing Saturday full of fun things.  We are getting ready for Valentine's day in our household, are you? Brandt and I made some Valentine cupcakes yesterday and today we did a "fun" craft.

Are you all getting ready for Valentine's Day?  I don't know how you all feel about Valentine's Day(day of love), but I have mixed emotions about it.  Flowers, candy, eating out?  Who doesn't love all of that.. but on a certain day? REALLY?  I guess you can say ever since we have had kids I look at it a different way now(LOL)!  Now, I think of it as a hassle, and would rather stay home and not fight all of the crowds of people at the restaurants.  I NEVER used to think that, I used to LOVE Valentine's Day and was a total sucker for all the romance:)  I guess you can say I am getting older and realizing it (sigh).  However, I WILL tell my husband he still owes me dinner and a date night, it just doesn't have to be on Valentine's Day!  

What do you think of Valentine's Day?
