Super Bowl

Did you all enjoy the Super Bowl last night?  We enjoyed watching it at my Mom and Dad's with family.  Unless our team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, is in the Super Bowl I really don't have a preference who wins.  My Mom is from Pittsburgh so we have been born and raised Steelers fans.  I think it is absolutely crazy that the coaches are brothers.  Could you imagine being the parents to them, turning one way to the winning brother saying, Congratulations we are so proud of you!  Then turning to the other brother and saying you did a great job but I'm sorry you didn't win.  CRAZY, if you ask me!  Also, we will never forget this Super Bowl with the power outage.  In my opinion, I think it powered the 49ers back up to come close at the end.  All in all it was a great game.

Who doesn't LOVE to watch the commercials during the Super Bowl?  The 2 winning commercials in my eyes were, "God made a Farmer" and the "Budweiser Clydesdale's".  Oh yeah, the
"Pistachios Gangnam Style" was pretty good too.  Those are my favorites, what were your favorites?

I only got 1 picture of the Super Bowl and that was of this yummy dish I made(this was before the party even started, laugh).....

Taco dip, delicious and easy.  Here is what you need and how you do it if you would like to try it.....

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread this mixture in a 9-inch (or a little larger) round serving dish. Top the mixture with lettuce, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, bell pepper and black olives.

How sad I only got 1 picture of the whole night? I guess you can say chasing the kids around had something to do with that. (wink) Let me rephrase that, chasing Alivia around, Brandt is pretty good about entertaining himself since he is 4, thank goodness.  Brandt really is a GREAT help for us and helping with Alivia, the age difference between them is perfect.  I wouldn't want it closer, 3 years apart is great for us.

Hope you all had a fun time watching the Super Bowl.  Have a happy Monday!

Till next time............
